Gorillas and monkeys are something I rarely draw, so I decided it was time for some practice. This took about an hour.

~Featured here [link] , thanks!

A wise, old and eerily humane orangutan from you would be something I would like to see.

This is really gorgeous. The strength in the face, the shoulders and forearms is incredible. Wow. You should definitely draw primates more often. :p

Hey :)
I'm happy to inform you, that I've featured this work of you in my recent journal.
It would be lovely of you, if you could give me a back-link in your description. (This is no must, just a question. I'm featuring your work because it's stunning and amazing, and not because I want to get popular :))
If you don't want me to feature your work, please tell me and I'll delete it as fast as I can!
Have a nice day!

Hey! Wow, thanks for the feature!
And yeah, why not, I'll mention that in the description, doesn't take much space.

Thanks again and you too!

No problem!
Yeah, around an hour - it's painted on a really big digital canvas, so one may be more sloppy. Looks good shrunk, this is about 40% of the original size. :)

wow o: 40%? the original must be huuuge :D did you draw this for fun or is it used anywhere?

:icontschahri:
Yeah, that's my usual working size. :D Good to have one with bigger resolution just in case.
I usually intended to put this in my portfolio so that's where this is going too, but apart from that, just for fun and practice.
