Work inspired by and loosely based on one of Yuriy Norshteyn's animations, "Fox and Hare". The hare had a house made of wood and the fox had her house made out of ice.
No words can describe how amazing this work is. It's too good.
Only critique that I can give is that the background uses only one kind of blue. Different shades of blue could make this piece even more alive. I have also noticed that you use very often light blue in your works. Is it your favorite colour or just the one that you happen to use?
I really like the "hidden" birds on the background. It keeps the works interesting, not just "just two visible characters and background with forest and leaves".
But still, this is amazing.

So nice to hear you say that. Yeah, you're right about the background, didn't notice that until now. My problem with backgrounds is that they usually end up being just as monochromatic as this one. My favourite colour is actually orange, but I seem to be stuck with blue - I don't know why, it just seems to be the easiest colour to work with. I actually just started a piece with just a little blue in it 'cause yeah, I've been using that colour too much lately. :D Thank you very much! Btw, your signature's quote is awesome.

When you say it's gonna happen now
What exactly do you mean ?
See I've already waited too long
And all my hope is gone (c)
